Just like the real thing, Hypershock can also flip itself over if one of its charges is disrupted by a wedge to the side. If you know how to juke, you can use this against Hypershock by baiting them to charge into a hazard or out of the arena if you happen to be fighting on a sumo ring. Hypershock is one of the fastest Hexbugs on record. (Disclaimer: Use this tactic with caution as you might just throw yourself out of the arena instead if the walls are short enough.) Hypershock is also invertible, so you might be able to self right using your spinner on the wall or even the wall alone if it is tall enough. This spinner can be used to flip your opponents when combined with a box rush.

Along with the fastest drive, Hypershock also boasts the most powerful vertical spinner of the stock Hexbugs. You can use this to your advantage by running literal circles around your opponent. Hypershock is one of, if not the, fastest Hexbug in the entire Hexbug Battlebots line, so you WILL need to practice if you intend to main Hypershock or a future Hypershock kitbash. Disclaimer: Using beefy AAA batteries or a LiPo upgrade is actually discouraged for Hypershock because several kitbashers have found out the hard way that this actually completely kills the Hexbug control board over time due to handling too much power at once.No kitbashes have been made with this yet, but the top kitbashers will figure something out eventually. Please note: I have owned some of these bots before 2019, but the first competition was the 2019 Recording, so the earliest time that can be listed in the "competing since" area is August 2019.The Hexbug Hypershock is an official product by Hexbug, released alongside Rusty. 37 of them are still currently competing.Ĭlick on one of the links below to view a bot's page, or use the menu above.īeta, Big Bully, Bite Force, Black Devil, Black Dragon, Blacksmith, Blue Rotato, Boltergeist, Bronco, Death Twister, Duck, Gamma 9, Hammerhead, Huge, Hurricane, Hypershock, Minotaur, Monstrosity, Railgun Max, Ring of Fire, Riptide, Rotator, Rusty, SawBlaze, Shatter, Sir Toss-a-Lot, Superscoop, Tangerine, Terabyte, The Claw, Tombstone, Tombstone II, Upgraded Tombstone, Upgraded Warhead, Vertico HBV, Warhead, Whiplash, Witch Doctor, Witch Dr. There have been 40 different Hexbug competitors so far.
